Sekolah Dasar Negeri 6 Kemenuh
Behind the rapid growth of tourism in Gianyar Regency stands a public elementary school that continues to strive to provide proper education for village children. Quality education must be supported by adequate facilities. However, the limited number of students has resulted in insufficient funding to renovate several school facilities.
Inspired by the students’ resilience and enthusiasm despite their modest facilities, we partnered with Bali Moon Art & Space to organize fundraising initiatives aimed at improving the school environment.
On April 17, 2025, we held “Karyaku untuk Sekolahku” (My Artwork for My School), where students created drawings and paintings. Their artworks were offered to the public, including international visitors and participants of our programs, as part of a donation initiative. The funds raised were used to renovate school facilities and provide salary subsidies for additional teachers. All activities were coordinated with the Gianyar Regency Education Office and received strong support. Through collaboration between the school, artists, and the community, we hope to continue fostering a more supportive learning environment and unlocking the students’ full potential.
